9am – 2.30pm – Public Skater Jam
3pm – invitational competition

KEASKATES IS GOING TO RAMP ATTACK!
Acid NZ builds beautiful, quality, New Zealand made skateboards and provides quality skate products for skateboarders here in New Zealand. On July 31st 2021 roughly 20 of the best mini ramp skaters from across the country are gathering to battle it out for cash prizes in the 3rd Acid NZ Invitational (with a twist, but we’ll get to that soon!).
Come along to Lemington Domain from 9am to check out all the rad skaters’ skills!
(This is an invitational which means you must receive an invitation to be able to enter into the competition.)
The main competition ramp will be 12 meters long and have different height sections (3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft). Acid NZ is also setting up a smaller “beginner’ mini ramp and some basic street features too! Between 9am and 2.30pm Acid NZ will be hosting a free public session and watching for skaters to give a “GOLDEN TICKET” to. This is a last minute invitation to compete! Show off your skate skills and style! After the competition the main ramp will be open for a late night / public jam.
- 9am – 2.30 pm – public skater jam. Come and show off your style and try to snag yourself a “GOLDEN TICKET”, a last minute entry invitation to the competition!
- 3pm onwards – 3rd Acid NZ Invitational
- After the competition – 9pm – the main ramp reopens for a public jam

Now, what’s the twist?
This event is a TWO-DAY event! On Saturday 31st July Acid NZ is hosting Skateboarders only.
But, on Sunday 1st August CIB roller skaters are taking over!
Another 15/20 of New Zealand’s best mini ramp quad skaters are joining in on the fun and skating towards those cash prizes! Sunday will run very similarly to Saturday.
from 9am until 2.30 pm the small mini ramp and street features are open to the public, and CIB will be watching for quad skaters they want to give a “GOLDEN TICKET” to! After the competition, you’ll have another chance to skate the awesome competition ramp!

KEASKATES WILL BE THERE!!
We’re bringing our tent, some goodies to shop and our gear to help keep you rolling and competition ready! Feel free to chat with us or book your skates for a service. You can even drop off items for us to work on, or collect any items ready to be returned. Or just stop by to say hello! We love seeing you and hearing about your skate troubles and skate dreams!
